What People Are Saying About Alhambra
We were very happy with this choice. Sabina, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made our tour extremely enjoyable. Well worth it!
When I found out that there were no more tickets available for the Alhambra, I was concerned since were coming from so far away and had our heart set on seeing it. Fortunately I was able to get tickets through this company and paid a bit more, but it was so worth it as our guide was excellent! Her knowledge made the tour and viewing the sites much more of a richer experience! Also so glad that we got tickets ahead of time with this tour group as the line for same-day tickets was long !!
I booked this tour at the very last minute and was glad I did so. The Alhambra is a big place, rich and complex in history. You really need a very good guide to lead you, so that you can best appreciate it. We had a small group of 8 and a fantastic guide in Christina. Her English was perfect and her knowledge was so rich. She paced the tour well. Really enjoyed this tour!
The place has to be visited, it is incredible! Also the signs, the security people, the ticket office people and the coffee at the meeting place. I lost a valuable object and they got it back though the place is huge and hundreds of people are passing every minute. But we got a guide not very attentive to the group, not informing about all the "rules" in the beginning and kind of agitated and not open for questions related to the tour. It didn't deserve the money paid, 42 euro. At least some bit of respect for a client paying an over rated amount. There were people just buying a normal 15 euro ticket, taking a map, reading info on internet and they looked happier walking around, other groups too. That was it, bad luck with the guide. So go but choose an offer with discount, in case of misfortune there won't be much to regret :)
Anna, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made the whole tour interesting. We wouldn''t have known the many facts or learnt so much of the history if we hadn't gone on the tour. Well worth it
