The BEST Things to Do in Alexandria - Top Activities in 2024

The tour was pretty well planned, so we got to see the most historic attractions in Egypt while not feeling rushed. Nice Tours took care of booking hotels, flights, museum tickets, etc., so we didn't have to stress too much about planning. Marina was in touch with us throughout the duration of the trip, and she was quick to respond to our concerns and solve them. There were a few hiccups- we couldn't visit the Library of Alexandria because it was closed on Fridays, we ended up going in an ordinary boat instead of the Felucca in Luxor that was earlier communicated, some of the restaurants we went to didn't have adequate vegetarian options. But the guides were pretty knowledgeable, were able to communicate well in English, and helped us avoid some of the scams that occasionally happen in Egypt. Our tour group had people from various continents, and everyone had a really positive experience. The Nile cruise especially was really good and relaxing too. Definitely recommend this trip.

In 9 days you see a lot of things worth seeing in Egypt and take in all the highlights. It's amazing how much culture and history you can absorb. The days were well filled, but it was never stressful. The guides were consistently very competent and personable, which felt like a VIP trip. Our provider also responded very positively to special requests, one of our group had a birthday and a delicious cake and a little serenade were organized, and all for free. The hotel on the cruise ship deserves special mention. The service and atmosphere were simply unforgettable. The only small criticism was the large "Hotel Hawaii" with different food manners. I was initially rather skeptical about planned tours, but after this experience with Nice Tours in Egypt, I am already planning where I will go next in a similar way. The tour and the provider are highly recommended for anyone who likes an active holiday where everything is taken care of and all you have to do is enjoy it.

As I didn’t have the time and resources to go to Alexandria on my own this time (my first visit to Egypt), taking this day trip was the next best thing. Everything was great, and it whetted my appetite for a longer, more in-depth stay in Alexandria. On the customer service side, Rayan made sure that the arrangements and logistics of the itinerary were organized in an effective and efficient manner. My driver Kahlad was peaceful, genuine, and a good, safe driver. My tour guide, Mahmoud, a fellow history lover and all-around pleasant fellow, added lots of knowledge and flavour to the featured sites. Finally, the restaurant where we had lunch was an excellent choice — delicious fresh food with a nice Mediterranean Sea view. I would heartily recommend Nice Tours to like-minded travellers.

That was a very lovely tour. Manal was a very good guide, she was very helpful and she knows a lot about the history. Historical places were very interesting. Transportation was smooth. Also, lunch was very tasty. I strongly recommend to have this tour.
