From Tour Travel & More, we offer a service where at the selected time, we will pick you up from your hotel or place of choice. Our first stop will be the Alcazar of Jerez de Fontera, one of the most beautiful places in Spain. The Alcazar of Jerez de la Frontera is a set of fortified buildings of Almohad origin that were probably built in the 12th century, being the oldest Almohad building in the Iberian Peninsula, to which later were added palatial baroque buildings, and which is one of the main monuments of the city; It is located in the southwest corner of the wall that surrounded the city, next to the Alameda Vieja. After a beautiful walk through the streets of Jerez, we will go to the Cathedral of Jerez de la Frontera. The cathedral of the Diocese of Asidonia-Jerez is a 17th century construction that combines Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical styles. We will continue our private tour to the Cartuja de Jerez de la Frontera, which is located to the south of the city. It is the monumental complex of greatest artistic value in the province of Cadiz, in Andalusia. Its initial architectural style corresponds to late Gothic and dates from the 15th century. Throughout the tour, we will stop for lunch in a typical place of the area, to enjoy its gastronomy.

What people are saying about Alcázar de Jerez

Very nice unique sherry winery! The place is very well designed for visitors and you can get a lot of information about the winery! The wine tasting is also very nicely prepared.

Very professional guide who was able to give us information in both English and Spanish. We appreciated that they were open on a Sunday, which seems to be unique in Spain.

Guide was lovely. Tasting was delicious. Very interesting. If you can have the cheese and ham with the wines as they are very good. We didn’t need lunch after that!

It was very informative and you also learn the history. The tasting is excellent.

Very unfortunate that the fino tasted was not available in the store
