Enjoy a cycling tour that takes you through the historical city of Alberobello and into the scenic surrounding countryside. See the hundreds of cone-roofed dry stone houses known as trulli. Savor regional flavors at a local dairy or olive oil factory.
What to Expect
Begin your half day of cycling with a guided tour of Alberobello, the City of the Trulli. UNESCO declared the city a World Heritage Site because of the 1,500 centuries-old conical-roofed stone huts found in this urban environment.
From Terrazzino Belvedere you’ll have great views of Rione Monti and its unique, picturesque dry stone houses with cone-shaped roofs. Continue on to the central area of Aia Piccola, which features more than 400 trulli, with most of them still inhabited.
Afterwards, your guide will take you either to a dairy or an olive oil factory to taste some of the best flavors of the area. Enjoy a picnic or a lunch at a traditional restaurant before returning to your starting point in the city.
