We didn't have time to go to Husavik so we chose to do the whale watching at Akureyri. We weren't disappointed. We were there late October and we saw a lot of whales (more than 15) and one of them splashed almost next to the boat. Definitely recommend it.

This was a wonderful trip, the guide was friendly and knowledgable, the boat was small and not crowded and they gave us free hot chocolate. We saw countless whales, who our guide knew by name. Highly recommended..
