Beautiful day of discovery. Having already swum with turtles in Egypt and if this is also your case, I advise you not to do Akumel beach. Already it is nothing extraordinary compared to others, the corals and the fish... really worth looking for them and the turtles... saw two from afar and one up close in a regulated atmosphere with many people and few weather. Disappointed not to mention the price! The cenote with the cave on the other hand magnificent. Great experience that I would do again without hesitation. The excursion itself is not worth it for the turtles but yes for the cenote and the cave.

We had a great time! Only issue was the location I selected on the map was not the location we got picked up at but they made it right and after that we had no issues at all. We got to swim with turtles and fish - there were stingrays but the water was too murky to see them. The cenote was an amazing experience too!

The cenote was absolutely amazing. Have never seen anything comparable and have traveled a lot. The Cenote Xtun is a bit remote and apparently you can only get there with a tour. The turtles in Akumal were of course great too, maybe a bit too many people in the water at the same time.
