Full description

Cruise to Whitehaven Beach on this 6-hour cruise. Depart early in the morning on a high-speed vessel for a cruise through the Whitsunday Islands and be the first on the beach. Alternatively, depart later in the day and enjoy a sunset cruise home.

Enjoy morning or afternoon tea. Board the Whitehaven vessel for the scenic cruise to the magnificent beach. Your cruise vessel has expansive seating areas inside and out and your skipper will provide an informative commentary on the history and natural wonders of the area.

Sit back, breathe in the sea air, sip a wine or beer, and marvel at the 74 Island Wonders of the Whitsundays, starting with views of Passage Peak and the Pentecost Island. The waters of Solway Passage lead you to Whitehaven Beach, a must-see in the Whitsundays.

Prepare to be dazzled by the breathtaking beauty and vivid white sand of Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island. This uninhabited island is one of Australia's true gems. Wander along the beach to your own secluded stretch, laze on the sand or cool off in the azure waters.

After spending 1.5 to 2 hours at the Southern end of Whitehaven Beach, make the beautiful journey back to Airlie Beach.

Whitehaven was a lovely beach to visit and we would definitely go back. However, it is advertised on the website as a 6 hour trip which was actually 7 as they didn’t factor in the extra time for travel at the end. Whilst the beach was heavenly the travel time took around 3/4 of the entire 7 hours which was a bit disappointing. If I was to do this again I would seek an express way or alternate travel to the island.

Great day out. Whitehaven beach is unmissable! Will say that there was an extreme LACK OF INFORMATION given. It said on the description 6 hours... but we only stayed on Whitehaven Beach for 2 hours and the rest was travel time. No itinerary given and minimal info before AND after booking. I did enjoy the cruise and day at whitehaven, however I do feel cheated that we only got to spend 2 hours on Whitehaven. Pros: - Whitehaven Beach - Staff Friendly - Morning Tea Cons: - Lack of Info - Short time on Whitehaven - Not much info while on cruise, would appreciate fun facts about islands etc.

Great trip - highly recommend 1/2 day (not whole) - at the end of the day it’s just a beach with some amazing walks and views - so if you went for longer than half day you just end up lying on the beach (which some people may love) - but half day I felt was perfect!
