From Agadir/Taghazout: Paradise Valley & Atlas Mountain Tour

Hussein the driver and guide was really good. He had a great character and really added to the experience and atmosphere of the day. There’s a short stop on route at the botanical garden and cooperative making Argan oil, honey and other things. No pressure to buy and the young lady doing the tour was really calm, friendly, informative and helpful. The walk is approximately 2.8km round trip and was pretty easy underfoot. The area around the pools for swimming was very slippery at the water’s edge and within the water on the submerged rocks. The drivers/guides are on hand to help the tourists navigate the rocky route to the pool and help people out of the water. There’s a jump from the rocks in to the natural pool of about 3 meters and one of about 5 metres. The jump was great fun and the water in the pool soft with a pleasant temperature. The area is an oasis with palms and streams running through the valley. All in all a great day and would recommend.

The transportation was luxurious. The driver was happy to put on the air conditioning. There was no hard sell when we stopped to visit the ladies of Argon and the Botanical Gardens. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. The trail from the drop off the to valley was a challenge. I’m 48, over weight and asthmatic and I managed it. The valley itself was lovely. My only negative was that there was a lot of graffiti and litter everywhere. Unfortunately neither are a priority in Morocco. I must warn you that the area around the pools is very slippery, but once in the water it’s lovely.

Activity was brilliant from start to finish. We stopped at a botanical gardens … which was interesting and informative. Photo stop then 2 hour at paradise valley. There has been a drought so not as much water as I’m sure there has been … which is sad! But still pools to swim in and beautiful scenery. I would recommend 👍👍
