Stop in the historic village of Hahndorf, one of the most important German settlements in the region. Wander through the town and be charmed by its quaint 19th-century architecture. Afterwards, take a scenic drive through the Barossa Valley, where you’ll stop in Lyndoch at the Kies Winery. Famed for its prolific production, enjoy a wine tasting alongside lunch at this family-run vineyard. With your palate piqued, you’ll head to more wineries and a chocolate factory, capping things off at Maggie Beer's Farm Shop.  You’ll return to your accommodation in Adelaide around 5:15 PM, just in time to reflect on the sights and tastes of the day over dinner.

Our initial Bums On Seat driver and guide was to be Paul. However, on the day, Peter arrived instead as Paul was somewhat otherwise engaged. There were 5 couples on this particular bus tour and it helped that we were all of the same age group. Peter was "an old hand" local who's family roots go back generations and so he was able to provide lots of tit bits of both interesting and entertaining information. We really enjoyed trhge experience and it was a great outing. We'd recommend this to everyone.

Awesome day out, Paul was fantastic!! Super knowledgable. The tastings were fantastic, the food was good and the area is so pretty. We were given a choice at the end to go to the last winery or to have a chocolate and wine tasting somewhere else, so glad we chose the chocolate and wine pairing experience, was so unique

Peter, our guide, was amazing and had so much knowledge of the area. The trip was super relaxed and we were able to fit in some extras as the day went on (discounted bunch at Haus, a planned trip to Mount Lofty before it rained, a choice of winery's depending on where you had been previously, etc)
