Full description

Spend the day exploring the dramatic landscapes of the south of Iceland along with its coastline on a full-day sightseeing tour from Reykjavik.

Following a pick-up from listed hotels or guesthouses in central Reykjavík, travel to the gorgeous waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Along the way, pass a variety of rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and glaciers.

At the waterfall at Seljalandsfoss, walk behind the cascades and feel the spray on your face. Continue to Skógafoss to marvel at the 60-meter drop. Pass the black sand beaches of the southern coast and enjoy the power of the sea.

Visit the glacier snout of Sólheimajökull to see an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull. Admire the ever-changing feat of nature up-close. Then, look at the basalt sea stacks in the town of Vik, Iceland’s southernmost village just south of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, before returning to Reykjavik.

The South coast of Iceland is amazing! we enjoyed the greenery, breath taking falls and views and beach and everything! But most of all, we’d like to thank Sam and City Bus Travel for helping us get another tour as we were in the wrong bus stop. so lucky to have Sam work it out for us. Thank you for the great customer service

Highlight of our week-long trip. Our guide, Anna, was amazing. Anna made the trip worth it. Anna is so enjoyable, as she is friendly, kind, sweet, informative, quirky, and very conversational and approachable--similar to a "cool aunt". The views were stunning, and we spent the perfect amount of time at each stop. Incredible picture opportunities, incredible sights, and very interesting information. If I could have Anna for every excursion, I would go back in a heart beat. Very much worth the price. Dress in flexible layers, as the temperature fluctuates from warm-cold-warm dramatically. The beach and waterfalls may mist you and have you searching for some warm fleece base layers. This is my only review leaving a full 5/5 rating in all 4 categories.
