the whole experience was very good from start to finish. well organised and ran smoothly. we had plenty of time to eat, walk up and down the mountain and sightsee. our guide , César, was very good (friendly, attentive, informative and easy to talk to in multiple languages). the only parts that weren't so good for me was the seating arrangements on the bus. I ended up getting stuck in the corner beside three larger gentlemen in the back row. it wasn't so much of a issue but there wasn't really enough space to move. being able to sleep through it helped but on the way back it was starting to get to me. not sure how you rectify this? perhaps keep so glad seats for larger customers? so they have more space as well. other wee point was breakfast was just ok, not that inviting. especially in comparison to the lunch we got, that was amazing!! staff were lovely too at the restaurant complex, very friendly and attentive. would definitely recommend and use the service again
This is a great day trip- so well organised from start to finish. It’s an early morning but definitely worth it, though I wouldn’t say it beats the crowds as there are several other trips leaving at this time. Plenty of chance to rest / sleep on the bus. Breakfast and lunch were great, wrap up warm in the morning. If you don’t feel sick after rainbow mountains, it is soooo worth doing red valley- the hike is easier than rainbow mountains and so much more quiet. Thank you to our guide Cesar and driver Washi- very knowledgable and felt like we were in safe hands. 100% would recommend this trip

Know before you go
- We suggest to be aclimatized to the altitude at least 3 days before doing this activity.
- This activity is not recommended for people who suffer heart disease or not well fitness.
- The best season to visit the attraction is from April to November (Dry Season).
- Keep in mind that if you choose to visit the Red Valley: you will need to be in well fitness, you will have access only to the viewpoint (won't walking through the valley), your free time in the Rainbow Mountain will be shorter.
- Horses or Quads can be rented on the place if you are not able to do the hike, consider that we don’t offer this service, you have to rent horses or Quads directly from the locals.
- The hotel pickup will be from hotels located in the historic center of Cusco city, otherwise we will meet at the meeting point designed after booking.
