Exceptional day considering we had rain and rough seas. The whole crew made sure we all had a fantastic experience. Although we didn't travel to Wineglass Bay due to rough seas we explored the calmer waters and thoroughly enjoyed watching the seals and a few whales when the rain abated. We could then take in the views and the entertainment by the sea creatures. We believe no one on the boat was disappointed.

From the moment we were picked up (absolutely on time, not 100m from where we were staying), the day was great. Rick our driver and guide was warm and friendly. Being a local, he knew where he was going and what to expect. He also had much knowledge about what we were doing and seeing during the day. Weather was a bit of an issue but as predicted it changed continuously so we were never at a disadvantage with respect to our stops. Morning tea which consisted of a variety of cheeses and hot freshly made bread from Bruny Island Cheese and fresh oysters from Get Shucked, was delightful and worked well for my husband and I as I like cheese and he likes oysters. Lunch was at the Bruny Hotel. We chose from the menu before going to the lighthouse and it was hot and waiting for us on our return. The meals were huge. The lighthouse lived up to expectations and scenery was spectacular. On the way back to the ferry we made three stops: for chocolate, for honey and for cheese and a drink.

Amazing day. The scenery is awesome. The lunchbox was fresh and yummy. The staff were professional and knowledgeable and lovely too boot!! NOTE: I’d you are remotely wobbly on the seas I would not recommend this unless you have anti nausea tabs. The ginger tabs they give you onboard are ok but not strong enough. I was great and had a blast but my poor hubby suffered for a while and so did a group of other travellers.
