Full description
The Amsterdam Airport Express provides a quick and easy transfer from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to the city center of Amsterdam. Departing every 8 minutes from bus platform B17. This bus takes you directly to Stadionplein, Emmastraat, Museumplein, Rijksmuseum or Leidseplein. From there, you can get to many hotels in Amsterdam very easily. If you travel at night the same bus N97 goes twice per hour between 1 AM and 5 AM in both directions. Sit back and relax during the 25 minutes trip while you charge your smartphone, use the free WiFi and check your bus stop on one of the screens. The bus has a low entry so you can bring your luggage inside the bus and keep it with you. Airport bus dropped us off within one block of our hotel. Very convenient. However, the day we were to leave Amsterdam, there was a marathon right in our neighbourhood and as such as could not use the pass back to the airport as the tram was not stopping near us but being diverted. We had to hire a taxi for 40 Euros which was expensive. But got us there in plenty of time. So make sure that the route you want to take will be available at the times you need it.

We bought the tickets and they sent us the vouchers at the time. The bus has a scanner where you have to support the voucher code, in our case it did not work but there was a person supervising the tickets and told us that it was fine. We travel very comfortable and fast. From the airport to the center of Amsterdam is 20-25 minutes.

Not crowded

I travelled On Friday around noon into the city and 4ish back to the airport and it was not crowded at all. Bus stop is easy to find. The timetable was followed. You can see the city during the route which is nice. Usb port by all seats is a big plus too.
