Full description

Start your experience in the morning and explore the scenic hills of the Chianti region where some of the most famous Tuscan wines are produced. Ride through the beautiful fields of vines, cypresses, and Tuscan rural houses. Enjoy plenty of stops for beautiful photo opportunities throughout your experience.  Stop at a local winery where the kind owners will escort you around their property before serving an authentic Tuscan meal, followed by wine and olive oil tasting. Hop on your scooter once again and follow your guide through the final part of the scenic ride, arriving back at the meeting point in the early afternoon.

Know before you go

  • Previous scooter/motorcycle driving experience is required and mandatory: A driving test is conducted by the team before the tour to verify the real ability to drive and being confident on a Vespa. Any participant unable to drive scooters safely won’t allowed to attend the tour or may choose to ride double with their partner. No refunds will be granted.
  • Documents requested to bring on the day: 1. Driving license ( no copy, only original ) 2. Credit Card visa/mastercard ( no pre paid, no debit, no amex ) for EUR 500.00 deposit per vespa. 3. Passport or ID ( no copy ). In the absence of any these it will not be possible to participate to the tour with no refund.
  • Vespa Primavera 50cc or Zip are provided for the tour. Max weight is recommended at 160 kg total (353 lbs)
  • Max speed is 48km/h (29.82 mph) on flat roads/ 15km/h (9.32 mph) on hills
  • The height of the saddle from the ground is 81cm(2'). Not recommended for people less than 1,60m (5’3”)
  • The vehicle weighs 88kg (194lb)

We had a fantastic day with Vincenzo as our guide! He was funny, helpful, taught us a lot about the local wines, olive oil, and history of the local area. We spent a lot of time at the vineyards, olive tree orchard, and had delicious 4 course lunch with wine tasting at a local winery. We highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I absolutely loved this tour! Hands down the highlight of our 3 week European adventure! We only had 2 days in Tuscany and feel this was the best way to see the countryside. We shared a Vespa which made it more fun for us (user's opinion) Alessandro was fabulous, kind, and so passionate about Vespa's and the Wine country's history! It was my first time driving an actual Vespa (vs dirt-bike) and he was the perfect guide for feeling comfortable! The winery we stopped at was quaint and had a lovely tasting/lunch. We easily fit a bottle in our Vespa storage compartment. We would hands down recommend this tour and loved that we still had much of our day left to visit SanGimignano. Well worth the money and time!
