Full description
Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Acapulco on Mexico’s Pacific coast, and see all the main sights of the cosmopolitan sea port city. You will drive along the Scenic Highway, stopping to take photographs of beautiful Acapulco Bay, one of the best-known and loved of all Mexico’s beach resorts. You will also stop at a local arts and crafts market, where you can purchase one-off gifts. Enjoy the most attractive places of the 3 port areas, Diamante, Dorado and Tradicional. Take the best pictures of the bay, know the chapel of La Paz and the mural of Diego Rivera. After exploring the busy hotel zone and main square of old Acapulco, where Hollywood celebrities like John Wayne once owned hotels, drive to Quebrada Cliffs to watch the daredevil Cliff Divers. This group of professional high divers perform night and day, leaping off the steep cliffs of the Quebrada ravine into the sea far below.

Quick tour of Acapulco

We had a good time on this 4-hour tour; just us and a couple from Costa Rica. The driver, David, was very good at providing interesting info in both Spanish and English, and he was very friendly and professional. The history of the Capilla Ecumenica de la Paz (the chapel and large cross on top of a hill) was especially interesting. The stop at the downtime flea market was a bit contrived, as he asked us to stay in one jewelry shop so that "we wouldn't get lost". But overall it was a good tour at a great price.

Nice tour

Nice tour in the Mexican shared taxi together with American and Australian citizens. Unfortunately, the communication did not work properly because we were traveling with a cruise ship and therefore were not reachable. The start date postponed from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. did not reach us. Otherwise, the driver was very friendly, spoke understandable English and even had a refreshment. What we didn't find particularly pleasant was an unexpected stopover in a silver jewelry shop (sales event).
