Brunello Full-Day Tour
- Duration: 8 hours
- Private group
LOVED this tour and our guide (Her name started with an M). This was a smaller group tour in a van which is what we were looking for (as opposed to a large group in a bus). We went to different regions with their own unique and beautiful qualities which made it feel like we got to see a lot in one day. If you are wanting a wine focused experience, then this is it. The small group was great and we got to learn and ask a lot of questions. We had lunch in a vineyard then there were light snacks at the other vineyards. We had an opportunity to walk around to see the fortress, Montalcino, and the Abbey. Wine plus great sights made it a great tour.
If you’re on the fence about this one, hesitate no more. Even in pouring rain I can honestly say I enjoyed this tour very much. Anna was very knowledgeable about the various regions we drove through and stopped in. You could also tell she really enjoys her job. Julio, aside from being an extremely handsome looking man, was also a very skilled driver, especially given the pouring rain and thunderstorm on our way back. The food and wine at lunch were really good as well.
We had a great time on this tour! A wonderful experience throughout the whole day! Montepulciano was amazing and the farmhouse tour and lunch were awesome! Anna, our tour guide lost no time to provide us with so much information throughout the tour and was ever so helpful and attentive to all our requests and needs. Fausto, our excellent driver was very patient throughout our journey! Well done and thanks!
The tour was really great. The medieval, Tuscan towns we were taken to (Multipiano and Pienza) were really beautiful, the lunch we were provided with was delicious and our guide was fantastic. Certainly would recommend this tour to anyone wishing to take just a day to see some of Tuscany from Rome.
Where do I start? The scenic bus ride, the knowledge guide (Anna) and the good. We left on time and did every single stop, we wandered montepulciano’s cobble stone streets and sip wine at the local shop.
