Excellent guide, he was great. We saw a lot more than we could have on our own, Everything was so interesting and well guided. We were disappointed that the tower portion of the tour was cancelled but that was beyond the tour’s control an we were exhausted anyway so that was no real problem. I would do this tour anytime and would strongly recommend It to anyone.

With the New York Explorer pass, we selected the 7 most important sights. Then I started planning the days. I got to know the subway and bus transportation in New York and planned where and how to go. Now I’m nearing the end and enjoying it more and more. I’ve been to the U.S. several times, but I’ve avoided big cities by far so far. However, I was in almost every National Park. I think we will enjoy that too.
These special 90-minute tours of the 9/11 Memorial are guided by New Yorkers who have a personal connection to that tragic day. Other than a lot of Covid impacts to the individual attractions, this pass is a good value. It IS a bit confusing up front and some of the timed attractions did not allow you to book the times in advance. But overall, we had no issues... and the attractions were all familiar with the pass and accepted it without much issue. We were very satisfied with our choice of this as opposed to purchasing individual tickets.

There was no in-,person tour. I didn't read the fine print. It didn't really matter as I was able to tour the museum at my own pace. I think I did spend a few extra $ by booking for the "tour" with Gettourguide.
With the getyourguide.com website you can purchase your tickets in advance. Make sure you print and bring the ticket which has a QR code. This QR code will be scanned at the museum entrance.
The memorial is very well done and provides a good overview of before and after of the events at the site. Powerful experience.
