Full description

Enjoy Bled, or the “Image of Paradise,” which has been attracting visitors with its breathtaking beauty for centuries. The calm and inviting waters of its lake spurred the tradition of making the typical ‘pletna’ boats back in the 12th century.

Optionally you can board one of these wooden beauties to reach the island, with its romantic church and mysterious wishing bell. Sightseeing in Bled continues with a visit to the impressive castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake.

Guides will roll back time in its museum, and enjoy the unforgettable view of the surroundings. Surrounded by alluring summits, the Bohinj Valley charms visitors with its inspiring scenery, crystal lake waters and the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.

The picturesque lakeside boasts the frescoes of the Church of St. John the Baptist. You will have time to discover the legend of Zlatorog (Goldhorn), enjoy a stunning view over Mount Triglav and try the hearty local cuisine.

To experience a bit of trekking, you'll end the day with an enjoyable 20-minute hike to the beautiful Savica Waterfall, thundering from a high rocky cliff, and enjoy a rewarding view of the Lake.

The trip was well organized, the tour guide was professional, very friendly and very helpful, obviously he likes this job a lot because he never stopped talking during the whole journey and it was very interesting to know a little bit more about the Slovenian culture and the way of thinking of the ordinary people, the places we visited were very beautiful and definitely it's worth going there.

The guide was supernice and helpful and and in addition to telling about the place visited he also told about Slovenia's history and other things about Slovenia. The Vintgar Gorge was extremely beautiful and so was Lake Bled. The guide also took us to Lake Rohinj, which was super beautiful too. We also went to a traditional Slovenian restaurant for lunch and the guide helped us to choose traditional courses. All in all, such a wonderful day! I already recommended this trip to my friend, who's planning to visit Ljubljana later this summer.

Bled Lake is amazing. I would love to experience this trip again. The guide also did his part to make the trip so good. Of course he knew a lot and then he was good at hearing what we were most interested in and then put extra emphasis on it. That meant we got a little extra time to swim. Nice with a guide who agrees that the group gets the experience we wanted. Will definitely come again.
