Full description

Immerse yourself in the culture and history of the Tuscan capital with a local guide. Explore the neighborhood of San Lorenzo, where you can admire the Basilica of S. Lorenzo, the church of the Medici family, and the Medici Chapels. Begin with a visit to the elegant cloister, a green oasis of peace in the heart of the Medici district. Then, take in the beauty of the Palazzo Medici Riccardi and reach Piazza del Duomo.

Marvel at the striking cathedral with Brunelleschi's dome and Giotto's bell tower. See the Baptistery of Saint John with the Gates of Paradise. Next, stroll along the Arno River to reach the Ponte Vecchio, the famous "Jewelry Bridge". Continue to the picturesque Mercato della Paglia and the Fontana del Porcellino.

Finally, go to Piazza Della Signoria, a marvelous outdoor sculpture museum, dominated by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio.

It was good. It was a small group which made it nice. I also booked a tour to Pisa , but the instructions for the meeting place were not clear and we missed the bus. It upset me because we couldn’t find the place and I lost a lot of money.

Good contact with the city.

A tour that allows you to get in touch with the city by seeing the main places of interest. The guide was very friendly and professional, and her explanations were useful, with the added difficulty that she gave the explanation twice: English and Spanish, as in our case it was a mixed group. This slows down the journey a bit. It must be clarified that the interior of any of the Churches or buildings is not accessed, but it allows to get an idea of the places and their history and then visit those that interest us the most.
