After visiting the Basilica, head to the Papal Grottoes, where the previous pontiffs were buried. Get indications to visit the St. Peter’s Dome on request at the end of the tour.

Vatican City was in my bucket list so I went with my family. It was inevitable I should visit the world famous St Peter's Basilica and we took guided tour as going on our own will take more time and we will miss more information and the guide will guide us along the necessary stuffs. It was a fine experience. Our tour guide was a fine lady who tried to explain everything. Unfortunately, we didn't get to visit the resting places of the Popes as it was closed on that day.

Margarita was a fabulous city local! We had a small tour of only two other families which was nice when I had booked a larger one for cheaper. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the basilica and pointed out some hidden features in the artwork we wouldn’t have noticed beforehand. Highly recommend!

My tour guide was Patricia and she was very good. Knowledgeable and entertaining, she taught us a lot and managed to make it engaging all throughout. It was a day full of learning and exploring I would not have had the chance to experience had I not booked the guide.
