Full description

Head for the Highlands, whether in search of the Loch Ness Monster or just a scenic day trip from Edinburgh. After pickup, relax on your group’s bus and listen to the guide’s entertaining commentary.

Visit Kilmahog for an introduction to the famous Highland Cows and a cup of coffee. Discover what a ‘hairy coo’ really is. Next, travel up the road to Glencoe and enjoy a 10-minute photo stop in front of the unforgettable Highland views.

Have lunch in Fort William, where your guide can advise you on where to eat. If you're interested in the mysteries of the kilt, you can even get a ‘wee’ kilt introduction here. Then be whisked to Loch Ness itself.

Customize your experience at Loch Ness with personal touches. Visit the majestic Urquhart Castle, and hop on a boat in search of ‘Nessie’, as the locals call it. Or simply hang out on the pier and grab a coffee with gorgeous views.

On the way home, make a short snack stop in Pitlochry, a beautiful village in the heart of the country, before returning to Edinburgh.

Stuart our tour guide was second to none! He really made the whole experience so enjoyable, from telling us all the history to playing relevant songs and even taking pictures for us, he was funny, witty and knowledgeable. we also loved how the tour could modified to your want and needs so if you didn’t want to do a certain activity you didn’t have to. All in all we had a great day and ending it all with ‘perfect day’ by Lou Reed really left us feeling on a nostalgic high - thank you to Stuart!

What a tremendous experience. An absolutely unforgettable day tour seeing some of the most beautiful and inspiring views of the Scottish highlands. Don’t think about going and not taking the cruise out on Loch Ness. Shame we didn’t see Nessie, but it was truly awesome cruise. Absolutely loved the choice and range of music throughout the day on the bus, which was spacious and comfortable. The true gems of the day have to be David our guide, who entertained us with stories full of history and folklore but added in some classic humor. Also Kenny our driver who was superb, manoeuvring that bus through some tight spots and winding roads. Together they are an incredible pair who truly made the day, and would be delighted to travel with those guys again. Can highly recommend this tour.

David and Kenny were excellent tour guides and Kenny's driving of a big coach was impressive which put me at ease on the windy Highlands roads. They were both so knowledgable and really enjoyed listening to the facts about Scotish history, particularly about the monarchy and famous battles. I won't lie, it is a very long day and a lot of it is spent on the coach so make sure to take advantage of the stops to get some fresh air and stretch your legs - we certainly needed it due to needing to wear face masks on the coach and one of us being 6ft 7"!
