I was completely blown away at the and the picturesque farmland surrounding the film set, which had such a wonderful ambience, the sheep had given birth to lots of twin, and a few triplet lambs. Absolutely delightful to see how healthy and white they were. The little cottages were so tastefully painted in bright cheerful colours, and there were beautiful flowers and plenty of vegetables growing at many homes. Sir Peter Jackson has done NZ proud. The free drink and welcoming fire burning in the “Green Dragon Pub” was so attractive. There was an 11 year old Pub cat called Pickles, that was sleeping innocently in front of the fireplace. A MUST SEE Tourist attraction

The Hobbiton tour was amazing. The whole family really enjoyed this set visit and the fantastic attention to detail. Benji our tour guide was a real character and a wealth of information and the bus driver was a great guy too! Totally recommended to anyone. A very well put together and beautifully maintained experience. A little expensive but when you consider the amount of work required to build this facility and maintain it then you can see why this is.

Beautiful place I have ever been to. Very good tour guider. A good way your guider related the movie set place to the movie scenes. So much time effort and resources have been used to create this hobbit town. Proud of how it has been maintained over the years and many more years to come. My kids loved it.
