We had an AMAZING experience with our hiking guide, Nova (Super Nova), and Adi our driver. The hike wasn’t too difficult, but we hike quite a bit back in the states. You need a moderate amount of fitness. It does get pretty steep at the end. The volcanic soil will also blacken your shoes so wear old or dark tennis shoes. The hot springs were great to soak in afterwards too! We can’t recommend our guides enough. They were great and made the trip memorable. Ohh, PS. The monkeys at the top bite sometimes... if you decide to let them touch you, crawl on you, etc.

Terrific experience. Something I’d never be able achieve alone. Pick up was exactly at the time proposed, comfortable car with air condition and then the hike. I had very uncomfortable shoes (my bad, I didn’t plan I’d do any activity like this), so the guide shared his sneakers with me. It’s was such a gesture of kindness in the middle of the dark and nowhere. Extremely grateful. The sunrise was terrific and the breakfast there. I think it’s a lifetime experience. I highly recommend this company. I’d never organize it all by myself.

We had an incredible tour guide, Leon!!! Unfortunately, the fog wasn’t in our favor this morning but hey, it didn’t rain. Still a great workout. We liked the springs after to relax and loved the avocado coffee at the coffee plantation. Getyourguide from the get go was the most affordable and seemed to be the most organized way to do the Mt. Batur hike. They send us emails to confirm everything and the driver even WhatsApp messaged me the time we would be picked up.

This was an amazing experience with the perfect mix of fitness and relaxation! Our driver, Wira, was on time and told us local history as ahebdrige us between activities. The morning climb up Mt Batur was fun and the sunrise, even though a bit cloudy, was amazing. Our hiking guide, Pande, was great and kept us at a good pace and told us the history of the volcano. And the hot springs were a welcome follow up from the hike!

Our guide and driver Gede Raka arrived on time to pick up us, he was very helpful, and knowledgeable. Both guides were creative and patient taking our pictures! My children and I loved the trip, it’s a great alternative to see the sunrise at Mt Batur without having to hike which can be tiresome for children. And with the Jeep you can visit places otherwise inaccesible like the black lava field (it’s like another planet!).
