We had a great time during the boat tour around La Maddalena. the boat was easy to find and we had the option to sit upstairs or downstairs. The boat is large and can probably seat over 100 people. There is a bar on board as well as a lunch service, but you can also bring your own lunch. We started off at Palau and made a stop at Maddalena to pick up additional guests. Then we made a quick 15 min swim stop in the middle of the sea followed by 2 beach visits and an hour-long stop on Maddalena island. In-between we had a lunch break on the boat and also viewed a few beaches from afar. Overall an interesting experience.
2. From Palau: La Maddalena Full-Day Archipelago Catamaran Tour
The tour departs from Palau harbor in the morning where you board your boat for the day and set sail onto the crystal clear waters of Sardinia. Admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the island as you travel along the coast, watching out for Porto Raphael and its famous villas along the way. Pass by the beautiful Punta Sardinia lighthouse before arriving at the first stop of the day, the island of Spargi. As the boat pulls into the bay of the island, marvel at your tranquil and uninhabited surroundings, unlike any other place on Earth. Enjoy some time to swim in the crystal clear waters at Cala Soraya, named by Princess Soraya in the 60s, or visit the bay just next to it, Cala Corsara. After your swim, regain some energy with a refreshing drink. Later, the captain will decide the next island to visit, dependent on the weather and the tide. Arrive at either Razzoli, Santa Maria, o...
The tour started with the organizer telling us that we we paid to rent the boat and not for an organized tour, so we had to “vote a skipper and a group leader following their recommendation” - clearly a scam to avoid any responsibility in case anything happened and not what we expected for this price. Anyway after this bad start the tour was actually very nice, we saw some astonishing places and the 2 guides were very friendly. I’d recommend the tour and the guys but definitely not the agency organizing the tour.

At the end you'll have the opportunity to purchase some of the products you've tried to take home with you. After the tasting, take a nice walk through the vineyard on your own to take some pictures.
The farm is close to Alghero (we went by bike from the centre and it took 30 minutes). It really worth it to see a Sardinian style farm and vineyard, olive plantation. The host was incredibly friendly and everything what she said was interesting. The wines are tasteful and uniqe, the cheese and the olive oil also. So if you would like to taste something that is original and really Sardinian than you should visit this farm! I hope we will have the chance to go back.

What people are saying about Sardinia
After reading all the comments i wasn't sure what to expect. It was the best decision ever. The tour was amazing, all the beaches and stops were perfect. We dont want it to end. The captain and all the staff are very kind and funny. I dont remember the name of the tour guide, but that lady was amazing. Even with COVID, we felt very safe and had space on the boat. I would do it again, and again.
The tour was wonderful. We visited very beautiful beaches and have an hour stop at La Madalena Harbour for visiting the town. Safety of tourists concerning COVID and other dangers was priority to the crew and the captain. Worth doing!
The travel was very well organised, everything was on time, the guide Valerya wa really nice and competent- tells us a lot of very interesting facts about Sardinian history and attractions. Really recommend this bike tour.
An interesting tour exploring the history of Cagliari from a unique perspective.
