It was a lovely evening. Took a while to pickup all the passengers with traffic jam in the city. Took about 2 hours to get to the first stop to see some wild macaque and silver leaf monkeys. A short stop up walking up to the hill and there they were with lots of babies. Then it’s about 20 mins to the seafood restaurant by the river. Descent tour bus meal, crabs, prawns, chicken, veggies and fried rice. The guide Lukas was very good at organising the time and we left a little earlier than some other tour groups. We got to the firefly centre in good time and had to queue a little to get on to the small rowing boats that takes 4 people. Saw lots of fireflies. The whole cruise was about 20-30 mins. Lukas was professional, approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us all the info about places, monkeys and fireflies. Overall a good way to spend an evening.
We had a lovely evening with Manjeet! She was extremely knowledgeable about the food, history, and culture of KL and Malaysia. In addition to teaching us about the foods we ate, she also taught us about Malaysian life and the different cultures within Malaysia. We have done a handful of food tours in multiple countries and this was one of the best. Manjeet also gave us some solid recommendations for the rest of our travels. Most importantly, she was fantastic with our daughter (18 mos). Highly recommend!
TK was an excellent host, had real knowledge of the local street food scene and navigated us through the busy streets with a walkthrough of all the items being prepared. He was friendly and flexible to customise the your according to our requirements.
Very good and enjoyable trip The boatman can very close to the fireflies and the fireflies really light up like Christmas tree My guide Peter is also excellent and tries all out to make the trip really enjoyable and memorable.Thumbs Up
Ahmad was a kind and helpful guide, he told us lots of information about the region that we visited. The monkeys were friendly and cute, maybe a bit scary when dozen of them trying to have food from you. The fireflies were amazing.
