    Our guide was exceptional, our experience was memorable.

    Louise, our guide, was incredibly inviting and informative throughout the entirety of our trip. We spent about three hours driving through beautiful countryside learning about New Zealand’s history, agriculture, and Maori culture. We went to both Wai o Tapu Geothermal Park and the geothermal park/Maori culture park at Te Puia. The former was beautiful, and Louise made sure we knew how these geothermal areas were used by the Maori. Te Puia was an amazing experience, as we were graciously invited to participate in a welcome ceremony and performance, and toured the on-site school that teaches traditional arts and culture to new generations. It was extremely interesting (and heartening) to learn about the Maori and see the work being done to preserve their traditions. Walking through the rest of the park, we even got to see a geyser erupt amidst the smoking craters and pools. The day was extremely memorable, and our guide was one of the most pleasant people we met.

    My family and I had an amazing time on this tour. I searched quite a bit to find a tour that was able to do the Rotorua trip with both the Te Puia & Wai-O-Tapu add ons, and I’m so glad I found this because both parts were definitely worth it! Lance was our guide, and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and engaged on our drive with interesting stories and his sense of humour. Lance is very knowledgeable and gave us a guided tour within both locations as well. Our highlights were the Champagne Pool, Devil’s Bath, Pohutu Geyser, and the cultural performances. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Auckland!

    An excellent day trip with plenty of time at both Wai-o-tapu & Te Puia geothermal parks. Tour guide Grant is a lovely man & an excellent tour guide. He was very informative along the drive and in Rotorua and he was very careful to accommodate everyone's needs while also making sure we were at the geyser Pohutu in plenty of time to watch it errupt. There was plenty of time at both parks and a lovely hangi buffet lunch at Te Puia overlooking Pohutu. Beautiful views of Lake Rotorua on the return trip. Grant also made great time on the return trip even though he had to make a detour to avoid a traffic issue. I highly recommend this tour.

    It was really nice trip. It would make it excellent if the price would be a bit less than I paid. The guide was attentive, had a good sense of humour and entertained us all trip. The van was not completely full, and it made journey even more comfy, as you spend a lot of time in the car. Guide had a good organisation skills, therefore the drops off and pick ups were really smooth and quick. It would be nice to have a bit longer time for the second activity (for me was Spa).

    Hobbiton was much larger than expected and the tour did not disappoint! Tubing through the gloworms at Waitomo was a great way to see them. The cave river is definitely cold but worth it. Nothing too scary or difficult! The pick up in Royorua and drop off in Auckland was perfect for us! Anne our driver was very knowledgeable about the area even with the detours for roadworks.
