Explore a Spanish shipwreck on Parana beach and spot penguins, whales, dolphins, and more in the Punta Loma Natural Reserve before jumping in the water to interact with the sea lions in their natural habitat. These curious animals are not trained nor fed, yet are friendly and used to humans. With the help of an experienced guide, you will learn more about these playful animals in this unique and unforgettable experience.  Choose between hotel pickup and drop-off in Puerto Madryn or come directly to the meeting point where you will be fitted with a neoprene suit before heading down to the water to hop on the boat. After snorkeling and touring, the group will return to the dive center for hot drinks.

The tour begins early in the morning towards the Valdés Peninsula Protected Natural Area, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. After an hour of travel, you will arrive at the picturesque ecological village of Puerto Pirámides to embark and carry out the Regular Traditional Right Whale Watching between the months of June and November, or of South American Sea Lions and Cormorants between the months of December and March. Between April and mid-June no type of navigation is carried out. Lunch (not included) will be scheduled in Puerto Pirámides or Caleta Valdés. You will have time to tour the southern part of the Peninsula, crossing wide landscapes of grasslands and undulations, passing through the Salinas Grande and Chica, and outside Punta Delgada, which constitutes the southern end of the peninsula. At Punta Cantor you can admire the Atlantic coast and the fascinating geological formation known as Caleta Valdés. These beaches are usually inhabited, depending on the time of year, by southern elephant seals, the largest seals on the planet. Depending on the time of year and the availability of marine fauna, you can replace the southern area of ??Las Salinas and Caleta Valdes with Punta Norte. From there you will start your return making a stop at the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, a compendium of the natural wealth of the peninsula. During this excursion you will have great chances to observe terrestrial wildlife, such as guanacos, rheas, foxes, maras, armadillos and skunks. Season: Land excursion All year. We depart early in the morning from your hotel in Puerto Madryn towards the Península Valdés Natural Protected Area, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. After an hour's journey, we arrive at the picturesque ecological village of Puerto Pirámides. Here you can optionally (not included) embark the Traditional Regular Whale Watching of Southern Right Whales between the months of September and November. Next, we head to Estancia San Lorenzo, a traditional Patagonian cattle ranch that is home to the world's largest colony of Magellanic penguins. Here, lunch service is available (not included) with an exquisite spit-roasted lamb, and we will visit the penguin colony located 7 km from the ranch's headquarters. From San Lorenzo, we move to the Punta Norte Reserve to observe, depending on the time of year, one-hair sea lions, southern elephant seals, and occasionally orcas. From there, we begin our return to Puerto Madryn with a stop at the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, a compilation of the natural richness of the peninsula. During the excursion, we have great chances of observing terrestrial wildlife, such as guanacos, rheas, foxes, maras, armadillos, and skunks. At the end of the excursion, you will be transferred back to your accommodation in Puerto Madryn. Hotel name is required to confirm the booking!

Important info: We work with the ships schedules, so we will adapt the tour depart and return time according to it. Punta Tombo is one of the most famous and visited coastlines along the eastern coast of Argentine Patagonia. In the morning we will go to Punta Tombo Protected Natural Area, which is home to a huge colony of Magellanic penguins. After a trip of just over two hours through the vast routes and Patagonian scenery, you will arrive at this fantastic reserve. You will have no less than three hours to cover both the Penguin Colony trails and the Punta Tombo Interpretation Center with enough time. You can make use of the facilities of the place, which has a Confectionery-Restaurant, bathrooms and trails to interpret the Patagonian winds.

After meeting at the dock, we began our journey towards the Punta Loma Natural Reserve, a breeding ground for Sea Lions located 20 km south of the city. Upon arrival, you will be able to see the specimens in their natural habitat from two viewpoints located on a cliff. From there, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and observe these majestic animals as they rest, feed, or play on the rocks and in the nearby water. You also have the opportunity to spot other species of local wildlife, such as seabirds, and walk along a flora interpretation trail. Additionally, the area is known for its rich marine life. The landscape and tranquility of the place make this excursion an unforgettable experience for nature lovers, ecotourists, and photographers. Upon our return, we will embark on a city tour of Puerto Madryn, a place where the Welsh settlers arrived in 1865, offering the perfect blend of nature, history, and regional culture.

Start your tour with a pickup at Piedrabuena Pier in Puerto Madryn. Enjoy a short city tour, visiting some of the highlights of the city and stopping to take in panoramic coastal views. Next, head to the Punta Loma Provincial Reserve to explore some of the trails. One of them is about 500 meters long and invites you to discover the nature reserve's endemic flora on the way to an impressive viewpoint. The other trail leads us to the main panoramic point, where you can observe the sea lion colony up close. Observe the sea lions, see their playful cubs, and watch local sea birds flying over the coastline and settling in their clifftop nests. Get dropped off back in Puerto Madryn at the end of your tour.

In this two-hour excursion we will make a tour around the city to visit the most interesting places: the commercial center, the historic center, the mineral and cruise ship docks, and ending the visit at the panoramic viewpoint of Punta Cuevas where the monument to the Tehuelche Indian, a former inhabitant of the area, is located. From here we will leave towards Paraná beach to go to the Punta Loma sea lion reserve. Here we will find colonies of juvenile and adult sea lions, which we will observe from the cliffs prepared as balconies, and delighting us with the flights of black cormorants. After this two-hour tour, we will be returning to our selected hotels in Puerto Madryn.
