Day 1 Airport - Kandy (Travel time: 3.5hrs; 110km)
At the airport you will be greeted by your tour guide who will take care of you until completion of your Sri Lanka tour. There after you will be transferred to Kandy. First stop and a chance to stretch your legs at Kadjugama, the Cashew Nut town of Sri Lanka. Purchase some of Sri Lanka’s finest nuts. A great gift for someone back at home or to keep as a snack whilst travelling around the island.
On the way to Kandy you will stop at Spice garden at Mawanella - Spice Gardento see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. Visitors may buy spices, traditional remedies and cosmetics, taste an herbal brew and in some venues, enjoy the full flavors of Sri Lankan spices over lunch or an Ayurveda massage based on natural products from the garden. Witness a Cookery Demonstration conducted by the Spice Garden staff.
In the afternoon you will arrive in spiritual Kandy, surrounded by greenery and the great Mahaweli River. Kandy is also well known as the centre of Buddhism, at your convenience, become acquainted with the city of Kandy.
In the evening witness a cultural dance performance & amazing fire eating (5.30 pm to 6.30 pm). Later transfer to your lovely hotel. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 2 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya (Travel time: 3 hrs; 75Km; meal: B)
Aftre breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Royal Botanical garden at Peradeniya.
Royal botanical garden is situated in the serene Hill capital, Kandy. Located 4 miles off Kandy, the garden dates back to the reign of King Vikrama Bahu III, 14th century. Peradeniya is home to a large variety of ornamental plants and other creepers that are used to produce the special spices of Sri Lanka. There is a flourishing growth of huge tropical trees along the lawns. But the orchid house is the prime attraction of this garden. Tourists will find more than 300 varieties of exquisite orchids blooming in profusion. The spice garden sustains trees and plants used for the traditional Ayurvedic medicine. The scenic splendor of the garden rose to ethereal heights by the Mahaweli River which flows through its fringes.
Before leaving Kandy you will visit gem museum & lapidary - world famous for its Ceylon blue sapphire. Next visit handicraft centre & batik factory –truly design quality with hand made. Thereafter proceed to Nuwara eliya. Enjoy the picturesque journey through mountains, magnificent water falls & Sri Lanka's tea growing centre.
Once in Nuwara Eliya check in to your lovely hotel & get some rest. In the evening engage in city tour of Nuwara Eliya and you will have the opportunity spend time walking around beautiful city lake till late evening. Later transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 3 Nuwara eliya – Colombo (Travel time: 5 hrs; 170km; meal: B)
After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Colombo. Relish & scenic journey just passing cascading water falls, tea carpeted mountains.
One the way you will be stop to visit to tea factory & plantation and you will be introduced the total making procedure of Ceylon tea, Great chance to taste of hot pure cup of Ceylon tea with unforgettable experience (you can also buy some). Later continue to Colombo.
In the afternoon welcome to the Colombo commercial capital of Sri Lanka.

Later you tour guide will introduce you to some of Colombo’s curious sites such the vibrant markets of Pettah, par or alternatively indulge in some shopping till late evening. Overnight in Colombo.
Day 4 Colombo –Aiport (Travel time: 1hrs; 45Km; meal: B)
As all good things must come to an end. After breakfast your tour guide will comfortably take you back to the international airport for a safe return journey.
